Upcoming Workshops
An essential skill in the watercolorist’s toolbox is the ability to utilize the mop brush to manage large areas of wet-in-wet paint and create the soft flowing edges that are trademark watercolor features. We will discover how mop brushes can soften the edges to blend a beautiful field of flowers on large cold-pressed paper. Come loosen your wrist with a brush and glass of wine! All materials provided, including the wine!

Exploring Nature in Watercolor
In this workshop, we’ll explore nature through watercolor using fundamental watercolor techniques. First, we’ll practice an essential watercolor skill to create a gradient blue background for our sky. Then we’ll use an opaque medium to create pink/white magnolia buds and branches over our background. We will also practice lifting paint off fall leaf renderings to reveal the beautiful transparency of watercolor. All materials are provided, just bring your creativity!

I've been selected again this year as one of the fine arts vendors at this free and fun annual fundraiser for public television. Along with lots of other artists and crafters, I will be selling original watercolors, greeting cards, and matted art for reasonable prices. For more infomation about the event and a list of vendors, visit MPT Flea Market & Bazaar.
I am excited to be one of a few selected artists to display original pieces for sale at the Roggenart Cafe in Towson, Maryland. It's a beautiful setting for the paintings and I am grateful to Roggenart for sponsoring this exhibition by local artists.
